Addison, "Dingey" and River Cats fun!

We definitely took advantage of Matt's job at the River Cat's this summer! I went to more games this season than the last 5 years combined (and that's saying something)! Well the difference this year is a certain 2 year old who is currently attached to her daddy and at any moment may insist on "We go River Cats game and see Daddy? That good idea?!" I mean who could resist that?? Or Matt's sweet boss who insists on buying us dinner? :) And of course Daddy loves showing off his little girl.

This is also the first year she has acknowledged Dinger, the mascot. It took her till last Saturday's game to finally want to meet him. So we stood in line and got our autograph then I stood her in front of him to get a picture... Oh my, the kind of cry that breaks your heart! I hope this isn't what I have to look forward to at Disneyland next month! So Mom ended up getting a picture with 'Dingey' after all. :)

Well a lot of fun this year at the stadium! Addison loves her pink River Cats bat and ball set and loved having her friends come out with her. Oh and she has created quite a stir with her amazingly good dance moves out on the concourse!! So if you're out there next year look for us - I'm sure we'll be there! :)

Wild Sleeper!

I found this picture as I am currently [FINALLY] downloading pictures off of my memory card and had to say something about it. So Addison had never slept in bed with us, not once. We didn't want to get her in a habit or have her be confused about when it's ok, so nope. Well...I've been getting kinda soft lately (well in Dec anyway)...I mean she never snuggles and sometimes the thought of snuggling in bed in the morning sounds very mom-like and appealing. Just so happens Matt is out of town and Addison wakes up in the middle of the night from a bad dream - okay, I'm going to do it. Um. I had the WORST possible night of sleep I've ever had! No seriously. It was awful. I kept getting kicked and punched until I was scooched over to the very edge of the bed (wide-eyed I might ad). This was not the snuggly, bonding moment I had envisioned at all! That's when I called it quits [and took this picture]. Crazy girl! How did you end up with your feet up and your toosh against the headboard?? Ah, maybe the next one will be a snuggler. For now, to each their own..BED! ;)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

We had a ton of fun this morning at a Valetine's Day party at Addison's best friend Ella's house! We made a Valentine's Day card for daddy that he's going to love! Okay, well Mommy made a cute card, I'll let Addie "sign" it. :) Addison did help with the red heart stickers though...she thought her cheek was a good place for one too! What a sweetheart she is!!

Addison Christmas photo

So random post, but I just love this Christmas photo of Addison. I can still see some of my "baby" when she has her "serious" look. Can you believe my mom bought that Christmas coat for her when she was only months old! Oh my mother... :) I keep saying it, but it really does go soooo fast! She's getting to be such a big girl. She is quickly losing that baby look, especially when I put her hair in ponytails! She just loves her baby dolls now. She bathes them, feeds them and put them on them on their potty seat. It's hysterical! We gave her a puppet theater for Christmas and she thinks that "peek-a-boo" toy is so fun! Addie you are such a blessing to us! You make us laugh constantly!
